The big news for Tri-State Pipe & Tobacco club is the establishment of facilities in New Haven, Indiana for a late fall (Nov 8) Fort Wayne Area Pipe Show--the day before Georgetown Riegel’s pipe smoking contest. We find ourselves fortunate to be one of the remaining pipe shows in the U.S. where show attendees and exhibitors can still fire up their pipes. Statewide smoking bans have torpedoed smoking in Fort Wayne, IN; Columbus, OH; and Chicago, IL. (According to Wikipedia Over 50% of all Americans are now covered by smoking bans of some degree)
